Responsibilities
The QA tester tasks include developing and running new tests designed and adapted for VR Training programs and Web-Based technologies, creating test plans, reporting the results, and collaborating with software developers to fix program issues!
Create, run, execute, and document test cases.
Identify, record, and verify defects.
Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience.
Communicate issues and escalate if necessary.
Research and compare similar competitor products.
Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends and advancements.
Assist with the maintenance of our Knowledge Base and Documentation.
Perform with our internal software tools for managing the development and deployment of products (JIRA, Trello, Documentation360, Figma, etc.)
Qualifications
Our QA tester requires excellent time management and an exceptional detailed-focused mindset with the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and a screen-long daily work. You must have good communication and problem-solving skills, a teamwork attitude with a spark of leadership, a drive to learn and grow in this industry, and love for excellent quality results!
2+ minimum of web platform QA testing experience
QA experience in video games and/or virtual reality.
Strong experience logging defects in bug tracking systems such as JIRA
Proficiency in test management software, programming languages, and QA methodologies.
Familiarity with Windows, iOS, and Android operating systems.
Experience in verification and regression of logged bugs.
Knowledge of software development life cycle and a general QA approach.
Scripting or programming background.
QA Management knowledge.
